Senior Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack

Experteer Overview In this role you own the technical and strategic roadmap for retail signals and automated value delivery. You collaborate with PMs and executives to identify improvement areas and ensure alignment across tools, predictions, and optimization. You’ll partner with senior cross-product area teams to consolidate capabilities and scale impact for retailers. You will design, develop, and launch software solutions that connect AI-driven signals with measurable retail business value, contributing to Google Ads’ mission of trusted, effective advertising. Compensation / Benefits * Own the technical and strategic roadmap for retail signals and optimization * Improve user understanding, advertiser intent, and LTV definitions to power automated value delivery * Collaborate with PMs and executives to identify cross-area improvements and ensure cohesive initiatives * Consolidate tools for value adjustments and ensure consistent usage across predictions and optimization * Partner with senior cross-product area stakeholders to leverage expertise and infrastructure * Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions for scalable impact * Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment * Contribute to AI-driven signals translation into retail business value and user-facing improvements Tasks * Bachelor degree or equivalent practical experience * 8 years of experience in software development * 7 years of experience with full stack development across back-end (Java, Python, Go, C++) and front-end (JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS) * 5 years of experience with design and architecture and testing/launching software products * 3 years of experience in performance analysis including large-scale distributed systems, ML optimization and performance optimization * Experience in machine learning and performance optimization Key requirements * bonus target * equity * benefits * career growth * flexible work arrangements * global exposure
