Requirements

  • Appropriate NYS certification to teach: Technology Education (or eligibility for such certification)

  • Demonstrated ability to work with peers

  • Demonstrated ability to work with supervisors

  • Ability to motivate and instruct students

PREFERRED:

  • Successful experience teaching high school Technology Education.

  • Experience with Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Engineering curriculum.

  • PLTW certification/training in one or more engineering pathways (IED, POE, CEA, DE, EDD).

  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor, CAD, 3D printing, robotics, manufacturing technologies, and engineering design.

  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate project-based and inquiry-based learning.

  • Commitment to collaboration and interdisciplinary STEM instruction.
