Job description

Experteer Overview As Pricing Data Scientist, you own end-to-end pricing analytics and measurement in close collaboration with Pricing. You’ll translate pricing dynamics into actionable recommendations for senior leaders, using predictive models and data-driven insights. You work across SQL, Python, and analytics workflows to deliver independent, execution-focused results in a fast-moving global environment. You’ll shape pricing strategy and dashboards, balancing rigor with practical constraints. Compensation / Benefits * Own end-to-end pricing analytics, modeling and measurement in partnership with Pricing * Build and maintain applied pricing models (elasticity, incrementality, sensitivity tiers) * Design and execute measurement for pricing tests and promotions (A/B tests, quasi-experiments) * Lead competitive pricing analytics and data validation of external sources * Translate analytical outputs into clear, action-oriented insights for leadership * Collaborate with BI Analytics and Data Engineering to shape datasets and scalable outputs * Develop analytical workflows in SQL and Python with minimal guidance * Contribute to pricing dashboards and recurring analyses for decision relevance * Refine pricing measurement frameworks as the business evolves * Experience deploying models in production analytics environments (Databricks, pipelines) Tasks * Strong applied quantitative background with Python-based data science models and production workflows * Hands-on SQL and Python, end-to-end data extraction, modeling, and analysis * Experience designing pricing or promotional measurement including A/B testing and quasi-experiments * Knowledge of elasticity, price sensitivity, discounting, promotions, and incrementality * Ability to translate outputs into actionable insights for senior stakeholders * Comfort operating with ambiguity and rapid execution in fast-moving settings * Strong analytical problem-solving and business intuition * Ability to collaborate across Analytics, Pricing, Finance, and Engineering * Typically 10 years of progressive experience in data science/analytics in retail/eCommerce * Degree in Engineering, Math, Statistics, Finance, or Computer Science (advanced degrees welcome) Key requirements *
