Experteer Overview In this role you will develop cross-platform C++ components for Esri’s mapping technology, enabling on latest devices and compilers. You’ll work within a collaborative team to design APIs and applications for field mapping, data collection, and sensor networks, contributing to ArcGIS software that meets real-world use cases. You will tackle complex problems in software design and user experience while advancing next-gen Esri technology. This is a chance to shape scalable GIS solutions and push innovation in the mapping domain. Compensation / Benefits * Build C++ software components following standard design patterns and deployment models * Develop software for field mapping, data collection, sensor networks, street navigation, and related areas * Collaborate with other programmers throughout the development process * Define user requirements and design/develop applications and APIs for devices * Ensure ArcGIS software performs well in real-world scenarios * Solve and articulate complex problems related to application design, development, and user experiences Tasks * 1+ years of software development experience * Fluent in modern C++ (C++11 and higher, STL, Boost, Clang, MSVC) * Object-oriented design skills * Understanding of algorithms and design patterns * Team-oriented with ability to work in evolving environments * Effective time management and organizational skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, mapping, GIS, or related field Key requirements * medical * dental * vision * life insurance * 401(k) and profit-sharing * vacation leave (80 hours accrual) or equivalent
