Experteer Overview In this role you will support the IDT product team on the Ground Based Mid-course Defense program, delivering systems engineering across requirements, design, integration and testing. You will lead technical activities in a fast-paced, Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure hardware and software interfaces meet mission-critical performance. You will drive initiatives that improve system integrity, verification and operational readiness in a high-stakes defense context. This position offers impact on national defense with opportunities to shape complex, safety-critical solutions and mentor others. Compensation / Benefits * Requirements decomposition, system design, and system integration & test * Hardware fault analysis and hardware design (mechanical and electrical) * Hardware interfaces (mechanical and electrical) and hardware to software interface definition * Testing and verification/validation activities for total systems * Agile backlog management using Jira and Confluence * MBSE practices and interface studies to translate customer requirements into hardware/software specs * Technical planning, risk and cost analysis, and supportability assessments * Transitioning into new roles with expanded responsibilities and leading initiatives Tasks * 5 years with Bachelor’s, or 3 years with Master’s * Background in hardware, hardware to software interfaces, testing, and hardware faults * Experience with DOORS * Familiar with Agile terminology and MBSE; Cameo experience preferred * Ability to translate requirements into total system solutions considering schedule and cost * Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship Key requirements *
