Experteer Overview As a Systems Engineer on the IDT product team within the GMD Weapon System program, you drive cross-functional system solutions that meet strict defense requirements. You will decompose requirements, design systems, and lead integration, test, and hardware-software interfaces in a fast-paced, Agile environment. You’ll work on high-stakes, mission-critical defense technology and help deliver robust, scalable solutions for ground-based missile defense. You will collaborate with diverse teams to translate customer needs into total system solutions and demonstrate initiative and leadership. Compensation / Benefits * Requirements decomposition and system design * System integration & test planning and execution * Hardware fault analysis and hardware design (mechanical and electrical) * Hardware interfaces (mechanical and electrical) * Hardware to software interface definition * Testing and verification activities * Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Cameo usage * Maintain and use Agile practices (Jira/Confluence) for backlog and progress documentation Tasks * 5 years of experience with a Bachelors in Science (3 years with Masters) * Hardware background including hardware-to-software interfaces, testing, and faults * Experience with DOORS * Familiarity with Agile terminology and MBSE/Cameo * Active Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship * Ability to translate requirements into hardware/software specifications and perform analyses such as functional and timeline analyses Key requirements *
