Data Analyst

Experteer Overview In this role you will design and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models to convert complex data into actionable intelligence. You will partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into insightful visualizations and ensure data accuracy and performance. You’ll perform exploratory analysis, track KPIs, and support data-driven decision making to advance Microsoft’s customer success mission. This position offers growth in BI capabilities, analytics, and data storytelling within a collaborative, impact-focused team. Compensation / Benefits * Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions * Develop and optimize data models, DAX measures, and Power Query (M) transformations * Translate business requirements into intuitive visualizations and actionable insights * Perform exploratory data analysis, trend analysis, and KPI reporting * Ensure data accuracy, report performance, and refresh reliability * Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable analytics solutions * Apply dashboard design standards to improve user experience and adoption * Support analytics automation and continuous improvement of BI capabilities Tasks * 3+ years of technical support, technical consulting, analytics, reporting, or information technology experience OR 5+ years of experience (equivalent experience) * 2+ years in a data analyst role building analytics solutions in Power BI * Experience with Power BI Service, workspaces, and row-level security * Familiarity with data warehouses and star-schema modeling * Experience automating refreshes and optimizing report performance * Data analytics skills including exploratory analysis, segmentation, trend and cohort analysis * Dashboard-building and visualization skills with focus on layout and interactivity * Data storytelling using Power BI, Python, or other tools * Data modeling with DAX, Power Query (M), and star-schema modeling * Proficiency in SQL for querying and shaping data * Ability to meet security screening requirements (Microsoft Cloud Background Check) Key requirements *
