Senior Data Analyst

Experteer Overview In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize enterprise-scale Power BI reporting solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. You will act as a liaison for analytics, partnering with stakeholders to deliver trusted dashboards and self-service insights. The role deepens your expertise in BI, data modeling, and advanced analytics while contributing to Microsoft’s customer success mission. You will work to standardize data governance and improve reporting quality at scale. This is a hands-on, impact-focused role within the CSS team, shaping how data informs business outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Architect, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic data models * Develop advanced DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and optimized data models * Establish reporting, visualization, and data governance standards * Translate complex business requirements into scalable reporting solutions * Partner with stakeholders to define metrics and reporting requirements * Optimize report performance, refresh strategies, and data reliability * Influence reporting strategy and best practices for dashboard development * Drive continuous improvement through analytics, automation, and operational excellence Tasks * Advanced data analytics skills (exploratory analysis, KPI definition, segmentation, trend analysis) * Advanced dashboard-building and visualization skills (interactivity, UX, design) * Data storytelling with Power BI, Python, or similar tools * Deep experience with Power BI Service, deployment pipelines, and row-level security * Experience with large-scale data warehouses and star-schema design * Proven ability to build widely adopted, high-performance reporting solutions * Advanced data modeling skills (DAX, Power Query, dimensional modeling) * Advanced proficiency in SQL * Ability to meet security screening requirements (Microsoft Cloud Background Check) Key requirements *
