Experteer Overview As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will help design and optimize Electronics Control Units for Electric Vehicles. You’ll work within an innovative team on hardware development, validation, and integration with software and mechanical domains. You’ll tackle reliability, performance, and manufacturability improvements in mission-critical systems for global enterprises. This role offers high impact, hands-on work in a leading engineering services environment with cross-functional collaboration. Compensation / Benefits * Provide ongoing support for deployed hardware systems to ensure reliability and performance * Identify design enhancement opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and manufacturability * Lead investigations into hardware failures and determine root causes * Develop and execute test plans to validate hardware functionality and compliance * Collaborate with software, firmware, and mechanical teams for seamless product integration Tasks * Bachelor in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering (or related field) with 7 years of hardware design experience, ideally in Automotive * Strong analog and digital circuit design foundation * Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium, Cadence, or OrCAD) * Solid understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal management * Hands-on experience with networking/communication protocols (Ethernet, PCIe, MIPI, GMSL) * Hands-on experience with high-speed design validation and circuit debugging * Strong problem-solving and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly Key requirements * Paid time off (12-25 days depending on grade) * Medical, dental, and vision coverage * Retirement savings plans (401(k) or RRSP) * Life and disability insurance * Employee assistance programs * Other benefits as per local policy and eligibility
