Senior Software Engineer (Gaming) in Los Angeles

• Design and develop games in Unity, collaborating closely with designers and artists
• Implement and optimize game features, systems, and user interfaces for mobile
• Write clean, efficient code and refactor frequently
• Debug and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and crashes
• Own our live service content pipeline (asset loading, addressables, asset bundles) to keep the client lightweight as our content library grows
• Maintain and optimize client-side systems for memory, performance, CPU, battery, and device at mobile scale
• Champion quality through clean architecture, testing, debugging, code reviews, and version control workflows

• 5+ years of experience developing and shipping live service mobile games with Unity and C#
• Passion for anime/kawaii culture, gacha/cozy games, and toy collecting
• Deep understanding of Unity’s AssetBundle pipeline, scene loading, addressables, and lifecycle management for live-operated, content-heavy titles
• Solid grasp of performance, memory, and optimization techniques for Android/iOS environments
• Familiarity with server-side development, real-time systems, and ECS architecture
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work across cultures
