Experteer Overview As Senior Software Developer at OASYS, INC., you will advance mission-critical warfighter training and planning tools. You join a cross-functional team to evolve Java-based software that integrates high-fidelity data and physics models for survivability and situational awareness. You’ll drive UI and data-interoperability design, implement optimization heuristics, and ensure secure DevSecOps practices for deployment in DoD environments. This role offers impact on national security through scalable, capable modeling software. You will work closely with radar analysts and engineers to translate complex physics into robust code. Compensation / Benefits * Support software design for core UI (Rapid Response Tool) and parsing utilities * Design and maintain interoperability with TGx and TMSS frameworks * Lead implementation of heuristic optimization algorithms and terrain modeling (DTED) * Ensure robust data ingestion/export pipelines for radar and log data * Support DoD DevSecOps practices and cybersecurity standards * Collaborate with engineers and analysts to translate physics models into scalable software Tasks * 10+ years of full-lifecycle software engineering experience * Strong programming expertise in C++, Java, and Python * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field * Experience with XML data structures and parsing utilities * Familiarity with geospatial data processing and coordinate geometry (DTED, Vincenty) * Experience developing software within the DoD M&S enterprise * Eligibility to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance (Active Secret highly desired) Key requirements * BC/BS health and dental * Vision (VSP) * ESOP * 401-K with matching * Flexible Spending Account * Tuition Reimbursement
