Systems Engineer Sr, Level 3

Experteer Overview In this role, you contribute to space mission capabilities by engineering and integrating systems within an agile, end-to-end development context. You will help optimize space and terrestrial sensors, plan constellation operations, and deliver secure, functioning capabilities to end users. You work with cross-functional teams to apply engineering principles at scale and automate delivery through an open, code-driven mindset. Compensation / Benefits * Generate and simulate operational level plans to explore feasible options for defending space assets * Dynamically optimize terrestrial and space-based sensors for comprehensive space domain awareness * Strategically optimize placement and maneuvering of satellite constellations to satisfy evolving priorities * Develop and deploy solutions on an Agile Scrum Team to deliver fully functioning mission capability securely and continuously * Utilize open-source tools and an automation-first mindset to focus on high-value functionality Tasks * Recent on-program Systems Engineering experience (requirements development, test planning/execution, verification, integration) * Experience applying systems engineering principles and methods * Experience with system integration, verification, and validation * Experience on large-scale, agile software projects with multiple teams and stakeholders * Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance (no initial clearance required) Key requirements * onsite work * flexible schedules * 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off * paid time off
