Software Engineer Sr (level 3)

Experteer Overview In this role you contribute to the vehicle management software that helps aircraft systems fly, joining a high-performing, multi-site team. You will work across the full software lifecycle for avionics, ground stations, and mission software, enabling rapid prototyping and deliverable software for both current platforms and future aircraft. Expect hands-on work from lab to aircraft, with opportunities to grow into a subject matter expert. This is a mission-driven environment focused on purposeful innovation and collaboration. Compensation / Benefits * Full software lifecycle development across avionics services, ground station, and mission system software * Support ground station development for manned and unmanned systems * Develop simulations to support software development * Interface with software and systems engineers to define requirements for rapid prototypes * Participate in integration and test events * Support planning and scheduling for key integration and milestone events Tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 3 years experience * Experience with C and/or C++ * Experience with Linux or RTOS and associated toolchains * Experience with software development process in a team environment (peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, defect tracking) * US Citizenship with Secret clearance (updated within last 5 years) Key requirements * 3-day weekend every weekend * 4x10 hour schedule option * Medical, Dental, Vision * 401(k) match * Paid time off and holidays * Education Assistance, Parental Leave
