Software Engineer - Java Spring Boot

We’re hiring experienced Senior Software Engineers to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative for one of the world’s most recognized Fortune 100 consumer brands. You’ll be part of a collaborative engineering team building modern, cloud-native applications that power mission-critical business operations used across a global enterprise. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern technologies including Java, Spring Boot, microservices, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines while helping transform legacy enterprise systems into scalable, high-performance applications. Atlanta-based candidates are preferred. Candidates outside the area will be considered if they are willing to travel to Atlanta weekly for onsite collaboration. What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Build scalable REST APIs and microservices
• Develop cloud-native applications following modern software engineering best practices
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional engineering teams
• Participate in code reviews and promote high-quality, maintainable code
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
• Help modernize legacy enterprise applications into microservices-based architectures, * Work on enterprise applications supporting a globally recognized consumer products organization with operations in more than 200 countries.
• Contribute to large-scale modernization initiatives using today’s most in-demand technologies.

• 9+ years of professional software development experience
• Expert-level Java development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot
• Experience designing and developing enterprise-scale distributed applications
• Extensive experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and software architecture
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Full-stack development experience with Angular and/or React
• Cloud platform experience (Azure preferred)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
• Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications
• Knowledge of application scalability, resiliency, and performance optimization
• Previous experience mentoring developers or serving as a technical lead
