Job description

Perform Requirements-Based Verification (RBV) activities in accordance with DO-178C DAL A/B guidelines.
Develop and execute verification procedures, test cases, and test scripts for embedded software.
Perform low-level software integration and verification testing.
Execute unit testing, integration testing, and software verification activities.
Analyze software requirements and ensure complete traceability between requirements, code, and test cases.
Identify, document, and resolve software defects throughout the verification lifecycle.
Collaborate with software development teams to validate implementation against system requirements.
Support software certification activities for safety-critical aerospace applications.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and verification reviews.
Maintain verification documentation required for regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Bachelor’’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM discipline (preferred).
8+ years of embedded software development or verification experience.
Strong hands-on experience with DO-178C DAL A or DAL B certification.
Experience with Requirements-Based Verification (RBV).
Experience performing low-level software integration and verification.
Strong Embedded C++ programming skills.
Experience with unit testing and software integration testing.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle for safety-critical embedded systems.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
