Job description

  • Perform Requirements-Based Verification (RBV) activities in accordance with DO-178C DAL A/B guidelines.
  • Develop and execute verification procedures, test cases, and test scripts for embedded software.
  • Perform low-level software integration and verification testing.
  • Execute unit testing, integration testing, and software verification activities.
  • Analyze software requirements and ensure complete traceability between requirements, code, and test cases.
  • Identify, document, and resolve software defects throughout the verification lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to validate implementation against system requirements.
  • Support software certification activities for safety-critical aerospace applications.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and verification reviews.
  • Maintain verification documentation required for regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM discipline (preferred).
  • 8+ years of embedded software development or verification experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with DO-178C DAL A or DAL B certification.
  • Experience with Requirements-Based Verification (RBV).
  • Experience performing low-level software integration and verification.
  • Strong Embedded C++ programming skills.
  • Experience with unit testing and software integration testing.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle for safety-critical embedded systems.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
