Job description

We are seeking a Senior API Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise API and integration solutions in a large-scale environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise with IBM API Connect, DataPower, API security, cloud integrations, and enterprise middleware.

Requirements

8+ years of software development and integration experience.
5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM API Connect (APIC) and IBM DataPower.
Strong experience building and managing REST/SOAP APIs, API lifecycle management, and API governance.
Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, LDAP, SSL/TLS, XML, JSON, XSLT, XPath, GatewayScript, and IBM MQ.
Experience integrating enterprise applications across cloud and on-premises environments.
Experience troubleshooting production issues, performing root cause analysis, and supporting enterprise API platforms.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Working knowledge of OpenShift/Kubernetes and AWS cloud environments.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills., * Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Lending, Insurance, or other regulated industries.
Experience with Kafka, IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I), Event Streaming, Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, or Prometheus.
Experience mentoring developers and leading technical design discussions.
