Job description
Platform Engineer, DevOps & Cloud Operations (Must be US Citizen or Green Card) Join a team building and supporting secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud platforms that power critical business applications and data solutions. As a Platform Engineer, you will help design, deploy, automate, monitor, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure while driving operational excellence across cloud, database, security, and DevOps environments. What You’ll Do
- Manage and support Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and platform services.
- Administer and optimize Azure SQL Database, SQL Server, and Snowflake environments.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Implement and enforce infrastructure and data security controls, access management, and governance standards.
- Monitor platform health, performance, availability, and security using cloud monitoring and alerting tools.
- Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery, patching, upgrades, and scaling activities.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, database, deployment, access, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with application, data, security, and business teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions., * Work with modern cloud, data, and DevOps technologies.
- Help build secure, highly available, and scalable enterprise platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams delivering impactful solutions.

Requirements
- Experience managing Azure Commercial Cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Machines, including deployment, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience creating, configuring, monitoring, and supporting Azure SQL Database environments.
- SQL Server administration and database support experience.
- Experience supporting Snowflake, including schemas, roles, warehouses, and access management.
- Knowledge of Azure Linked Services configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with infrastructure security, including networking, firewall rules, private endpoints, service principals, managed identities, and Key Vault.
- Experience implementing role-based access controls and user access management.
- Knowledge of database backup, recovery, restore, and disaster recovery processes.
- Experience monitoring and optimizing cloud infrastructure and database performance.
- Hands-on DevOps experience supporting software deployments and release processes.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across cloud, database, security, and deployment environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry and Azure Machine Learning.
- Knowledge of Azure data governance, cataloging, and data lineage solutions.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, PowerShell, or Python.
- Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or ETL platforms.
- Experience supporting web applications, APIs, and backend services.
- Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
