Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable on-prem networks to support a government customer. You will collaborate with system architects and cross-functional teams to deliver robust LAN/WAN solutions, manage IP space, and enforce security measures. You’ll lead network installation and upgrades, monitor performance, and contribute to RMF A&A activities to sustain a strong security posture. Compensation / Benefits * Design, implement, and optimize customer networks with architects * Plan and lead network installation and upgrade projects * Manage IP address space and routing * Implement network security measures and firewall configurations * Monitor syslog events and enhance security posture * Collaborate with system administrators, cyber security officers, and CNDSP * Assist with RMF A&A data collection and reporting * Conduct regular network performance tests * Resolve escalated network issues and document resolutions * Research and propose upgrades for network technologies Tasks * Active TS/SCI Clearance with current Polygraph * U.S. Citizenship required for clearance * Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of relevant networking experience * DoD 8140 IAT II level certification (e.g., Security+ CE, GSEC, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, CND, SSCP) * Minimum 5 years with Juniper and Cisco routers/switches, firewall deployment and migration * Working knowledge of virtualization and cloud platforms, services, architectures/designs Key requirements * healthcare benefits * paid leave * retirement plans * insurance programs * education and training assistance * employee-owned company benefits
