Sr Consultant - IT Strategy Consulting - AI

Experteer Overview As a Senior Consultant at Gartner Consulting, you will lead delivery across AI-focused engagements, guiding teams and translating Gartner research into actionable client outcomes. You’ll own workstreams, conduct primary/secondary research, and develop artifacts such as maturity assessments and roadmaps. You will apply deep AI knowledge to connect solution choices with business value and governance considerations, while coaching junior staff and contributing to reusable IP. This role sits at the intersection of hands-on analytics and stream leadership, offering meaningful impact with senior client stakeholders. Compensation / Benefits * Own one or more workstreams within a broader engagement, managing scope, timeline, analysis, and quality with limited oversight * Conduct client interviews, workshops, data collection, benchmarking, and synthesize insights * Develop core artifacts: maturity assessments, current-state diagnostics, use-case prioritization matrices, roadmaps, and business cases * Filter signals in a fast-moving AI landscape to produce tangible, context-grounded recommendations * Apply AI domain knowledge across enterprise use cases and governance considerations * Support AI strategy, operating-model design, data-readiness, and responsible-AI governance workstreams * Contribute to reusable accelerators and IP for the AI Center of Excellence * Build and configure generative AI solutions/agents using platforms like Bedrock, Copilot Studio, Azure Foundry, Vertex AI, OpenAI, Claude * Translate requirements into prototype solutions and implementation-ready recommendations for client and technical teams * Serve as day-to-day client contact, facilitate workshops, and communicate findings through executive decks and summaries * Guide and coach junior consultants, review work products, and contribute to proposals and thought leadership * Help scale the AI Center of Excellence through case studies, offerings, and repeatable methods Tasks * 4-7 years of experience in management consulting, technology strategy, data/analytics, or enterprise transformation with recent AI/data exposure * Strong structured thinking and problem solving; ability to own analysis independently * Solid technical literacy; credible with technical teams and business audiences * Hands-on experience building generative AI solutions/agents on core platforms (e.g., Amazon Bedrock, Copilot Studio, Azure Foundry, Google Vertex AI, OpenAI Enterprise, Claude) * Excellent storytelling, analytical modeling (Excel/Power BI), and written/verbal communication * Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus Key requirements * hybrid work environment * competitive compensation * annual bonus or role-based incentive plan * 401k match up to $7,200 per year * stock purchase at a discount * generous PTO
