Tableau BI Developer

We are looking for a Tableau BI Developer to join our team in a contract-to-hire position. The ideal candidate will have experience building dashboards and reports using Tableau, along with strong SQL skills and exposure to SSRS and SSIS. This role requires working closely with business users to turn data into meaningful insights and support reporting needs across the organization. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and visualizations.
• Create and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
• Maintain data accuracy and consistency across reports and dashboards.
• Support and enhance SSRS reports.
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing SSIS ETL processes.
• Assist with report automation, scheduling, and governance.
• Document BI solutions and provide user support when needed.

• 4 7 years of BI/Data Reporting experience.
• Strong experience with Tableau dashboard development.
• Solid SQL development and data analysis skills.
• Experience with SSRS reporting and SSIS ETL processes.
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts and database design.
• Experience working with large datasets and enterprise reporting environments.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Insurance or Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance industry.
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and compliance standards such as SOX or SOC 2.
• Exposure to legacy system modernization and migration projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT best practices.
• Experience supporting enterprise BI and analytics platforms.
