Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Project Manager to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and finalize IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Understand and work within technical project scopes, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience as an IT Project Manager.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
  • Experience in managing IT infrastructure, software development, or related projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
