Security Engineers offers competitive wages and benefits., An Armed Patrol Security Officer safeguards people and property through patrols, access control, surveillance monitoring, and emergency response, while carrying a firearm, exercising sound judgment, completing reports, coordinating with law enforcement, and providing professional customer service in compliance with all licensing and legal requirements., * Security Operations
- Perform regular patrols to enhance safety and identify security concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify IDs and credentials.

Enforce procedures per Security Post Instructions.
- Incident Response & Reporting
- Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol.
- Maintain accurate logs of activities and observations.

Execute routine tasks: locking/unlocking doors, managing security systems, and monitoring surveillance.
- Customer Service & Professionalism
- Assist visitors and employees, addressing concerns professionally.
- Enforce SEI and Client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking).
- Maintain a clean, pressed uniform and professional appearance.
Requirements
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid State Security License
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must complete armed training and maintain a valid pistol permit
- Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards, * Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
- Availability to work weekends.
- Strong situational awareness and curiosity.
- Ability to stay calm and problem-solve in critical situations.
- Basic computer skills; able to use a tablet for reporting.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Minimum Physical Requirements With or Without reasonable accommodation
(subject to change based on client-specific needs)* Stand for at least 1 hour without support or break* Sit for at least 1 hour without break* Walk at least ½ mile without stopping
Education & Experience:
Minimum:
- Education: HS Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- Experience: 1+ years of verifiable security, military or law enforcement experience., High School Diploma or equivalent
Certification Requirements (All)
Alabama Security Regulatory Board License, preferred Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses Pistol Permit

Armed Patrol Security Officer- 2nd Shift
Mon-Fri (3pm-11pm)
$14.10-$15.00/Hr.
