Job description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with strong expertise in Python application development, cloud-native architecture, and modern application development platforms. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, deployment, and support of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications while mentoring engineering teams and driving engineering best practices., * Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-grade Python applications.

Own end-to-end software delivery including requirements analysis, design, coding, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
Design and build cloud-native solutions, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
Implement application monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization using observability tools.
Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.
Ensure application security through authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding standards.
Drive Agile development practices and participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical design discussions.

Requirements

8+ years of software application development experience with at least 3+ years in a Technical Lead role.
Strong hands-on expertise in Python application development.
Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and software engineering principles.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud platforms.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency with Git and source code management.
Experience designing and developing REST APIs, Microservices, and event-driven applications.
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cloud SQL.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Monitoring, or OpenTelemetry.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
