Job description

Experteer Overview As part of Netflix’s Content & Business Products (CBP) Engineering, you build scalable, highly available platform products that connect content workflows from pitch to play. You’ll work with cross-functional partners to shape and deliver frontend widgets and backend services that power global content production and promotion. You’ll own reliability and observability, mentor peers, and push for high-quality code in a fast-evolving environment. This role offers the chance to impact how Netflix studios create and launch shows at scale and globally. Compensation / Benefits * Architect and develop leveraged platforms spanning frontend widgets and backend services * Lead cross-functional initiatives across design, product, and engineering partners * Drive reliability, observability, and on-call improvements across the stack * Mentor engineers and contribute to technical communities * Communicate complex concepts clearly to varied audiences and drive alignment Tasks * Proficiency in building full-stack platforms with GraphQL/REST APIs, UI components, and real-time backend systems * Backend expertise in microservices design using Java, C#, or similar OO languages * Hands-on experience with modern frontend tech (HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS) and React * Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering from ambiguous goals to deployed products * Strong communication skills and ability to distill technical concepts for stakeholders * Track record of incident response, post-incident reviews, and improving reliability Key requirements * Health plans * Mental health support * 401(k) with employer match * Stock option program * Disability programs * Paid time off and flexible time off
