Experteer Overview In this role you will help transform localization into an AI-native platform, building scalable, reliable systems that coordinate AI agents, human input, and automated workflows. You’ll lead cross-functional workstreams from concept to launch, shaping the future of localization at scale for Netflix’s global audience. You’ll tackle architecture, reliability, and performance challenges while partnering with engineering, product, design, and business teams. This is a mission-driven opportunity to impact how stories feel native across cultures and languages, at a global scale. Compensation / Benefits * Own and drive ambitious localization initiatives from concept to launch * Define work processes and reduce ambiguity; align across engineering, product, design and business * Design and implement AI-native platforms with durable workflow orchestration and reliable orchestration * Lead complex software engineering initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders * Architect, build and operate highly available, fault-tolerant production systems * Make technical trade-offs and steer architectural decisions to balance speed, quality and customer value * Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical partners to build alignment Tasks * 7+ years of experience building resilient, high-scale, low-latency production systems * Experience building AI-native products, agentic workflows, or intelligent automation * Hands-on experience with Java or a similar OO language; strong distributed systems knowledge * Proficiency in designing and implementing gRPC, GraphQL, or RESTful APIs * Proven track record of architecting and operating highly available systems * Experience leading complex initiatives from concept to launch across multiple teams * Ability to make technical tradeoffs, facilitate discussions, and drive architectural decisions * Excellent written and verbal communication skills Key requirements * Health Plans * Mental Health support * 401(k) with employer match * Stock Option Program * Disability Programs * Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
