Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer with strong expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketing Cloud Next, and Salesforce Data Cloud to support a large-scale transformation and enhancement initiative within a complex enterprise environment. The assignment focuses on the implementation, maintenance, optimization, and further development of customer engagement and campaign management capabilities. You will work within a SAFe-based Agile Release Train (ART), contributing to the integration of multiple enterprise platforms and ensuring high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions., Solution Analysis & Design Analyse existing business and technical requirements and identify optimal implementation approaches within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketing Cloud Next, and Data Cloud. Design scalable and maintainable technical solutions aligned with business objectives. Evaluate opportunities for improving system performance, stability, and data quality. Development & Integration Develop and implement marketing campaigns, automations, flows, validations, and related solutions. Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems through APIs and middleware platforms. Develop custom Salesforce extensions and enhancements according to agreed specifications. Create reusable components following clean code, scalability, and documentation best practices. Quality Assurance & Support Execute and document unit testing activities. Analyse and troubleshoot integration and deployment issues. Investigate and resolve production incidents, implementing both immediate fixes and long-term solutions. Contribute to reducing technical debt and improving platform reliability. Agile Delivery Work independently within an Agile/SAFe environment. Collaborate closely with developers, architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams. Participate in refinement and sprint planning activities and deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with sprint objectives.

Salesforce Expertise 3-5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with a strong focus on: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Salesforce Data Cloud Apex development Relevant Salesforce certifications, particularly related to Data Cloud, are highly desirable. Technical Skills Salesforce customisation and solution development. Strong programming and code optimisation capabilities. Experience integrating data from multiple source systems, including CRM platforms, APIs, and data warehouses. Solid understanding of data modelling principles. Experience designing and implementing: REST APIs SOAP services Platform Events Change Data Capture (CDC) Event-driven architectures DevOps & Deployment Experience working with: Git (GitFlow or trunk-based development) Salesforce DX (SFDX) CI/CD pipelines GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools Familiarity with package-based deployment strategies. Enterprise Integration & Operations Experience in highly integrated enterprise environments. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills. Knowledge of performance optimisation, API limits, retry mechanisms, and error handling. Experience managing high transaction volumes, complex data models, and reducing technical debt. Ability to evolve existing customisations using sustainable engineering practices rather than temporary workarounds. Tools & Technologies Experience with: VS Code Salesforce DX (SFDX) Git GitHub, GitLab, or Azure Repositories Monitoring and logging tools Jira CI/CD platforms Desired Experience Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next migrations.
