Requirements

Proven experience as an Automation Test Engineer, Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
Strong hands-on experience developing automated tests using Python 3.13+.
Experience testing containerised applications using Docker.
Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks such as PyTest, Playwright, Selenium or Robot Framework.
Experience testing APIs, user interfaces, integration points and microservices.
Experience integrating automated testing into GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins or similar CI/CD platforms.
Experience working alongside security teams to automate security testing within delivery pipelines.
Familiarity with Git and requirements/test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence or TestRail.

Desirable skills

Exposure to Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm and ArgoCD.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks including ISO 27001 or NIST.
Experience with performance and load testing tools.
