Job description

Design end-to-end application architecture aligned with business and technology goals.
Develop scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions using modern architectural principles.
Lead application modernization initiatives, including microservices and cloud-native solutions.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, infrastructure, and security teams throughout the SDLC.
Define architecture standards, best practices, and technical roadmaps.
Review solution designs and provide technical leadership and mentorship.

Requirements

Bachelor’’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years of software development or application architecture experience.
3+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or Application Architect.
Strong experience designing enterprise applications and distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
Experience with or strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-native application design.
Familiarity with container platforms (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, EKS, or similar cloud technologies.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) is a plus.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and modern software engineering practices.
AWS certifications are a plus but not required.
