Job description

Google Cloud Platform Platform Expertise (Compute Engine, IAM, VPC networking, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, and GKE)
Automation and IaC (Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration)
Cloud Security (least privilege, secure data, and maintain compliance), The Google Cloud Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud solutions across the enterprise. This role supports mission-critical financial systems, ensuring high availability, regulatory compliance, and strong security posture within Google Cloud Platform., * Design and implement cloud architectures using Google Cloud Platform core services such as Compute Engine, VPC, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and GKE
Build automated, repeatable infrastructure using Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration
Strengthen cloud security through IAM governance, encryption, network segmentation, and compliance controls aligned with financial regulations
Monitor and optimize cloud workloads using Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and cost-management tools
Partner with security, architecture, and application teams to deliver resilient, compliant cloud solutions
Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement across cloud environments.

Requirements

Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform architecture, networking, IAM, and security
Hands-on experience with Terraform, Cloud Build, GitLab CI, or similar automation tools
Proficiency with Kubernetes/GKE and containerized application deployment
Understanding of financial-sector compliance frameworks (PCI, SOC2, FFIEC, etc.)
Ability to design scalable, fault-tolerant systems and manage complex cloud environments
