Security GRC Specialist - Telecommunications

You’ll act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, supporting security documentation, coordinating customer audits and security enquiries, and working closely with Security, Compliance, Legal, and Sales teams to ensure ongoing compliance and trusted customer relationships. • Act as the trusted security advisor for customers and internal teams on cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance matters
• Lead customer security reviews, audits, and due diligence processes
• Create, maintain and update customer facing documentation, including security concepts and incident response plans
• Support compliance initiatives across frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, PCI DSS, C5 and GDPR
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk and Engineering teams to align contractual security clauses with company standards
• Advise on security architecture and measures for customer solutions, including cloud security, encryption, access control, monitoring and resilience
• Respond to security questionnaires and RFPs with accurate, timely information
• Integrate business continuity and resilience requirements into project design and onboarding
• Partner with Security teams to monitor and report on security posture
• Contribute to vulnerability management and incident response communications for customers
• Ensure partner coordination and compliance
• Deliver internal and external enablement programs to improve handling of security concerns
• Educate Sales and Customer Success teams on security messaging and compliance requirements

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management and compliance frameworks including BSI Grundschutz, NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, SOC 2 and NIST
• Familiarity with security governance and assurance processes
• Knowledge of business continuity and resilience requirements
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language
• Proven experience managing customer audits, security questionnaires and trust building initiatives
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills under pressure
• Ability to collaborate cross functionally and influence stakeholders
• At least 3 years’ experience in information security, GRC or compliance roles with customer facing responsibilities
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are advantageous

• C1 level German proficiency as a minimum, alongside fluent English
