Job description

We’re seeking a technically skilled Data Center Cable Technician to join our growing fiber infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting structured cabling systems within our data center environments. You’ll work closely with network engineers and facility managers to ensure optimal performance and uptime across our critical systems., * Install and terminate copper and fiber optic cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, OM3, etc.)

  • Perform cable testing, labeling, and documentation
  • Maintain cable trays, racks, and patch panels in a clean and organized manner
  • Assist with server and network hardware installations, Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI): We may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support parts of our hiring process, including sourcing, screening, and evaluating candidates. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications (e.g., BICSI, FOA) preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in structured cabling or data center environments
  • Familiarity with cable testers, OTDRs, and labeling tools
  • Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and floor plans
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in physically demanding environments (lifting, climbing ladders, confined spaces)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cable management software or DCIM tools
  • Knowledge of network protocols and basic troubleshooting

This is a Contract position based out of Fairless Hills, PA. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
