Job description

Experteer Overview In this role, you will support cybersecurity engineering, RMF compliance, and security integration for NORAD and USSPACECOM mission systems at the Cheyenne Mountain Complex. You will work with cross-functional teams to enhance security, resilience, and mission readiness across space, missile warning, and command-and-control environments. This opportunity focuses on securing critical national mission systems and enabling trusted warfighter capabilities. You will contribute to continuous improvement of cybersecurity posture while delivering secure, integrated solutions in a classified setting. Compensation / Benefits * Support cybersecurity engineering across the system lifecycle (design, integration, testing, deployment, sustainment, modernization) * Implement and integrate cybersecurity controls, architectures, and defensive technologies across mission and enterprise environments * Assist with RMF activities including control implementation, assessment support, POA&M management, and documentation * Support system hardening, vulnerability assessment, patch management, and remediation * Collaborate with systems engineering, software development, integration, and operations to embed cybersecurity requirements in designs * Support security testing, verification, and validation, vulnerability scanning, and operational security assessments * Analyze and troubleshoot cybersecurity issues, vulnerabilities, and incidents * Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation (SSPs, procedures, architecture artifacts, assessments) * Support continuous monitoring, audit readiness, and compliance in classified environments * Participate in Agile, DevSecOps, and integration activities for secure delivery and readiness * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for cybersecurity posture and mission resilience Tasks * Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 3+ years * Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain TS/SCI * Experience in DoD/IC, space, missile defense, or C2 environments * Experience with RMF, security compliance, and cybersecurity integration * Familiarity with NIST RMF, NIST SP 800-53, STIGs, vulnerability management * Experience with system accreditation, vulnerability remediation, and testing * Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows environments * Ability to collaborate across engineering, software development, integration, and operations teams Key requirements * salary range $104,000 - $166,000 * overtime potential * shift differential (where applicable) * discretionary bonus * competitive benefits
