Sr. Software Engineer, Customer Experience Engineering

Experteer Overview In this Senior Software Engineer role, you build intelligent data applications that help diagnose customer issues and improve guidance within Snowflake. You lead cross-functional efforts to reduce friction in the product and enable scalable solutions across multiple data sources. You’ll collaborate with product, design, and partner teams to shape the product vision while mentoring junior engineers. This is an opportunity to influence how customers experience Snowflake and accelerate impact through AI-native, experimental approaches. Compensation / Benefits * Lead projects spanning the stack (Java and Python services, Kubernetes, Snowpark Container Services) * Foster collaboration with product management and design * Deliver features in coordination with multiple partner teams * Contribute to product vision and team planning * Identify problems, instrument components, and implement solutions * Mentor and coach junior engineers Tasks * B.S. or M.S. in CS, MIS, or equivalent * 6+ years hands-on software engineering experience * Deep understanding of modern application design, APIs, performance, and scale * Expertise in Python, Java, Scala, or GoLang (bonus for multiple) * Experience with software engineering best practices (unit testing, code reviews, design docs) * Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills in cloud environments * Demonstrated technical leadership (architect or tech lead) * Strong verbal and written communication, collaborative with diverse peers and external developers * Genuine enjoyment of building software and learning new things Key requirements *
