Job description

Experteer Overview In this Senior Technical Program Manager role you steer complex aerospace and defense programs from proposal to delivery. You will partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and contracts to meet cost, schedule, performance, and quality targets while maintaining customer trust. You drive program execution through integrated product teams and cross-functional collaboration. You will manage risks, budgets, and technical reviews, enabling impactful, governed programs. This role offers meaningful responsibility in a regulated, DoD-focused environment and exposure to senior stakeholders. Compensation / Benefits * Lead multiple technical programs across the full lifecycle, from proposal through closeout * Own overall program performance including cost, schedule, technical execution, and customer satisfaction * Lead IPTs and cross-functional teams to align goals and deliverables * Develop schedules, execution plans, staffing plans, and resource forecasts * Drive accountability across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations * Oversee development programs involving complex hardware and integrated products * Manage requirements, dependencies, risks, and engineering challenges * Support SOW development, subcontract management, and technical reviews * Influence technical decisions balancing customer expectations with business objectives * Serve as primary customer point of contact for execution activities * Lead customer and program reviews and executive status updates * Build relationships with internal/external stakeholders to support outcomes * Coordinate contractual deliverables and issue resolution across teams * Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks; lead recovery and corrective actions * Escalate issues to maintain momentum and confidence * Manage program budgets, forecasts, staffing, subcontractors, materials, and travel * Monitor performance with EVM and present health metrics to executives * Support contract negotiations, modifications, and proposal activities * Contribute to proposals, capture activities, and growth initiatives * Ensure proposals align with capabilities, requirements, and objectives Tasks * 7+ years of Technical Program Management in aerospace, defense, or regulated industries * Strong engineering background with hands-on design/systems engineering experience * Proven experience managing complex hardware or system development programs * Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) systems and analysis * Ability to manage budgets, schedules, staffing, and risk mitigation * Knowledge of program management tools, processes, and best practices * Excellent problem-solving and leadership abilities with cross-functional collaboration * Strong presentation and communication skills for customers and executives * Experience collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Contracts, Finance, and Operations * U.S. citizenship * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field Key requirements * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) with company match * HSA with company contributions * Tuition reimbursement and professional development * Paid vacation and holidays * Flexible 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off
