Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will drive Salesforce development within ICF’s Health Engineering Systems team to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional designers and engineers to translate user needs into robust Salesforce applications and integrations. You will optimize performance, implement data models, and advance automation and DevOps practices to support client success. This opportunity lets you shape cloud-based solutions in a mission-driven environment that values inclusion and continuous learning. You will work with cutting-edge Salesforce technologies to make a meaningful impact. Compensation / Benefits * Participate in the full application lifecycle: architecture, design, development, testing and deployment * Write, test, and deploy high-performance Apex code * Create and customize Lightning Components to enhance UI * Design data models and implement Salesforce objects, including custom objects, fields, and relationships * Perform performance engineering and optimization (modular development, lazy loading, caching, asynchronous workflows) * Contribute to options analyses, proofs-of-concept, and solution validations * Identify risks, manage change, and design scalable cloud solutions * Gather technical requirements and translate user stories for delivery * Collaborate with designers and engineers on product, front-end, and back-end requirements * Assist users with troubleshooting the platform * Participate in Agile processes (standups, demos, retrospectives, sprints) * Document development processes and technical designs for maintainability * Implement mature unit and integration testing * Promote cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing * Implement automation-first approaches (Apex scripts, RPA) within Salesforce * Stay updated on new features and technology * Other duties as assigned Tasks * Bachelor’s degree * 4+ years of Salesforce Development & Engineering * Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance * US residency and presence (3 of the last 5 years in the US) * Must have lived in the US 3 full years out of the last 5 years * Active Trailblazer account required * Experience with web programming including HTML, CSS, JavaScript (preferred) * Experience with Lightning Web Components, Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Visualforce, SOQL (preferred) * Experience building REST APIs for external systems integrations (preferred) * Experience with object-oriented design and Salesforce data modeling (preferred) * Experience with Agile/SAFe environments (preferred) * Security, DevSecOps, and Agile concepts awareness (preferred) * Experience developing Salesforce reports and dashboards (preferred) * Experience in call center setups within Salesforce (preferred) * Excellent presentation, collaboration, and communication skills (preferred) * Experience with Copado CI/CD (preferred) * Experience in multi-cloud AWS development and health cloud (plus) * Government contracting or civic technology experience (plus) Key requirements *
