Experteer Overview In this role you will shape DoD SATCOM systems by leading systems engineering efforts for a worldwide SATCOM network. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate mission needs into technical specifications and deliver enterprise capabilities. You will guide architecture design across the system lifecycle, from acquisition to sustainment, and push for advanced technology adoption. You will work in a mission-driven environment that values customer-focused engineering and scale.” Compensation / Benefits * lead systems engineering efforts to deliver enterprise SATCOM capabilities * evolve systems with advanced technology solutions * participate in various stages of the systems engineering lifecycle (acquisition, engineering, sustainment, operations, management) * design and develop SATCOM systems for a worldwide network of facilities * coordinate and consolidate disparate design efforts to optimize cost, schedule, and performance risks Tasks * 4+ years of experience in DoD end-to-end SATCOM systems engineering and architecture design or integration * 4+ years of DoD system lifecycle activities (acquisition, requirements analysis, engineering, design, integration, sustainment, technical refresh) * 4+ years of experience assessing satellite communications architectures and selecting new concepts * 4+ years of experience leading engineering tasks for SATCOM systems with multiple components * 4+ years of experience in planning, design, testing, fielding, and sustainment activities * Knowledge of DoD systems acquisition process and systems engineering requirements for military SATCOM * Knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Satellite Communications, and IP network technologies * Ability to coordinate design efforts for enterprise SATCOM optimizing cost, schedule, performance risks with mitigations * Top Secret clearance * Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or IT field * Clearance: Top Secret (required) * INCOSE CSEP, ASEP certification (nice to have) Key requirements * health, life, disability, and retirement benefits * tuition assistance * professional development * work-life programs * paid leave * recognition awards
