Sr IAM Security Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will design and mature enterprise IAM capabilities to support secure access governance and automation at scale. You will collaborate with IAM, cloud engineering, and security teams to implement SailPoint ISC, Microsoft Entra, and AI-enabled automation. You will drive value by improving identity lifecycle, access hygiene, and provisioning with data-driven insights. This is a mission-driven opportunity to shape IAM strategy and governance in a remote, collaborative environment. Compensation / Benefits * Lead design, implementation, and improvement of IAM solutions using SailPoint ISC, Microsoft Entra, Silverfort * Maintain IAM roadmaps aligned with security, regulatory, and business goals * Act as IAM SME on identity lifecycle, access governance, and enterprise integrations * Articulate IAM initiatives and risks to leadership * Apply AI-assisted automation and analytics to IAM operations without bypassing governance * Configure and support IAM platforms, policy enforcement, and provisioning workflows * Develop automation for access request handling, lifecycle events, and governance reporting * Design and deploy retrieval-augmented AI tools to summarize observations and identify access patterns * Support AI-assisted workflows for cloud identity services and governance reviews * Ensure security, compliance, and audit readiness across IAM processes Tasks * 10+ years in Information Security with IAM expertise * Proficiency in Python, SQL, Azure, OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Langchain * Experience with SailPoint ISC and Microsoft Entra * Knowledge of cloud identity, SSO, SCIM, MFA, and app registrations * Experience with HashiCorp Vault or secrets management * Ability to work with APIs, logs, and identity datasets for analysis and improvements * Strong problem-solving and judgment for differentiating AI recommendations from governance-required actions * Experience leveraging automation, analytics, or AI-enabled capabilities in security or IAM Key requirements * Medical, dental, and vision * HSA contribution and match * Uncapped paid time off * Parental leave * 401(k) match * Tuition assistance
