Job description

Job Title: Pega Developer Platform/Product Location: Saline, MI Years of Experience: 7 10 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Developer Platform/Product with a strong background in Pega Customer Service Development. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on delivering high quality solutions that enhance customer service capabilities. This role requires a deep understanding of Pega systems and a passion for leveraging technology to improve customer interactions. Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement Pega Customer Service applications to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Optimize existing Pega applications for performance and scalability.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
  • Stay updated with the latest Pega technologies and best practices, applying them to enhance product offerings.
  • Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Pega Customer Service Development.
  • Proficient in Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) and related frameworks.
  • Experience with Pega Customer Service modules and functionalities.
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with integration of Pega applications with other enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of Java, SQL, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with cloud based solutions and deployment strategies.
  • Certifications in Pega development or related fields.
  • Experience in customer service or support environments., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Pega Customer Service.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
