Please visit the UGA Background Check website., Desktop Support - Provide comprehensive support for desktop systems, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software. Percentage of time 20, Laboratory IT Devices - Support and maintain IT devices used in scientific laboratories including specialized laboratory equipment. Percentage of time 20, Systems Administration - Perform systems administration tasks, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of IT infrastructure. High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience, This position requires completion of specified certifications within the first two years of hire for employees who do not already possess them, with department support available. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems, network troubleshooting, systems administration, and familiarity with laboratory IT devices. Experience with Microsoft Intune is required.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
