Job description

The IT Strategic Sourcing Analyst Lead is responsible for directing the procurement processes and focusing on high-complexity IT Labor contracts. This role ensures contracts align with strategic business needs and contract requirements. At a higher level, they’re seeking someone with strong business acumen, as one would expect from an IT Strategic Sourcing Analyst Lead, but with a dedicated focus on labor., * Executes sourcing and procurement activities such as contract development, contract negotiation, contract approvals, and requisition processing. Coordinates with all teams such as legal, information security, risk domain, IT and Business Groups, and vendors to ensure all requirements, deliverables, and deadlines are met.

*Analyzes, structures, redlines, and negotiates contracts to ensure contracts are cost-effective, legally compliant, and meet customer needs.

  • Facilitates cross-functional stakeholder meetings during the contracting process.

*Sets customer and vendor expectations while navigating the sourcing and negotiation processes.

  • Collaborates with and supports other team members on their active deals.

  • Updates contract data records and maintains data quality across all procurement systems. Audits contract data for accuracy and completeness.

  • Performs pricing analysis; drives savings and optimized cost structure wherever possible.

Requirements

Minimum of 9 years of related IT work experience (e.g. IT Sourcing, IT Contracts, IT Vendor Relationships).

  • {OR} Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related discipline (e.g., MIS, Business Management, Supply Chain/Procurement) and a minimum of 6 years of related IT work experience (e.g. IT Sourcing, IT Contracts, IT Vendor Relationships).

SKILLS:

¡ Knowledge of procurement process; contract negotiation and contract management skills.

¡ Experience with procurement systems (Coupa, Oracle, SAP, etc.)

¡ Negotiation skills; ability to influence others and gain commitment.

¡ Strong project management and facilitation skills; able to keep multiple deals progressing to successful conclusion in coordination with various cross-functional stakeholders.

¡ Ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills to effectively solve problems, perform data analysis, and develop solutions.

¡ Mindset which is detail-oriented, quality-focused, deadline-driven, and rigorous. Enjoys and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

¡ Intermediate-level Excel knowledge for data and cost analysis (Pivot tables, etc.)

¡ Ability to present information to meet varying audience needs.

What will separate an average candidate vs a great candidate on a resume?

  1. Category Management or Buyer experience, especially as relates to technology goods and services

  2. IT procurement experience, including knowledge of contractual language, terms, and conditions

  3. Consulting experience / cross-functional roles

  4. Experience with technology suppliers

Interview Process:

  • 2 rounds of video interviews (1 with manager, 2 with organizational SME’s)

  • Video MUST be turned on during the interview
