Experteer Overview In this role you will support and maintain the district’s technology infrastructure to ensure students and staff have reliable access to resources. You will work with the administration to sustain the iRaleigh initiative, device inventory, and device repairs, contributing to a scalable, secure teaching-and-learning technology environment. You will plan, deploy, and maintain networks, systems, and software while ensuring data backup, recovery, and documentation. This position offers a hands-on role in a mission-driven school district with a focus on IT reliability and user support. Compensation / Benefits * Provide access to technology resources for students and staff in collaboration with school administration * Support the iRaleigh initiative including device inventory, repairs, and project status insights * Document, inventory, install, configure, maintain, and upgrade LANs, computers, peripherals, and software * Plan, test, and deploy networking products, software, and migrations * Configure and manage antivirus and risk management tools * Install and configure networked software and versions * Maintain routine maintenance for computers and components * Document issues, perform backups and recovery procedures, and monitor logs * Investigate misuse of technology resources and ensure security * Liaise with users to communicate effectively and maintain relationships * Follow administrative procedures and guidelines for performance evaluations and compliance * Participate in ongoing training and specialized credentialing as required by WV policy and RCBOE policies Tasks * Authorization for Technology Systems Specialist or eligibility * Minimum Associate degree from an accredited institution * Two valid Basic Level Certifications or one Advanced Level Certification (as WVDE approved) * Completion of at least 15 clock hours of WVDE-approved in-service credit * Knowledge of LAN/WAN hardware and OS software * Familiarity with Apple OSX and IOS preferred * Ability to document procedures and maintain records * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in classroom/technology environment * Demonstrated ability to plan, test, and deploy software and hardware solutions Key requirements *
