Job description
Kforce has a client that is seeking a UX/UI Technical Lead in Houston, TX. We are looking for a UX/UI Technical Lead to support two existing enterprise applications and lead the design and front-end delivery of a new application for a major energy-sector client., * Lead UX strategy, requirements gathering, prototyping, and usability testing for the new application
- Provide ongoing UX guidance and interface improvements for existing applications
- Translate business workflows and complex data into intuitive, accessible user experiences
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, developers, and product owners
- Support front-end development, backend integration, testing, deployment, and technical documentation
Requirements
- Strong experience in UX/UI design, user research, wireframing, and responsive application design
- Front-end development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Angular, HTML, and CSS
- Experience integrating applications with REST APIs and data platforms such as Databricks
- Experience with Git, GitHub, CI/CD workflows, and Agile delivery
- Familiarity with analytics and visualization platforms such as Sigma
- Ability to independently lead a project while supporting multiple concurrent workstreams
- Experience designing enterprise applications for the energy, utilities, or industrial sector is preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
