Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will contribute to building trusted, scalable payment technology within Consumer and Community Banking. You will work in an agile team to design, develop, and troubleshoot software that supports secure and stable customer-facing products. You’ll apply enterprise AI-assisted development practices to improve quality, speed, and reliability while upholding secure coding standards. This position offers an opportunity to grow as a software engineer by tackling complex problems in a large, mission-driven financial services environment. Compensation / Benefits * Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others’ code * Lead adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes * Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge to enhance automation and value * Identify and automate recurring issues to improve stability * Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams on architectural designs and applicability Tasks * Formal training or certification in software engineering and 2+ years of applied experience * Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability * Advanced in one or more programming languages: Java, Kotlin (MVVM/MVI, Coroutines, Compose), Dagger, RxJava, JUnit, Mockito, Git * Experience leading use of AI-assisted development tools and setting team expectations for validating AI outputs * Strong understanding of secure, resilient software delivery and responsible AI practices * Proficiency with Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies (CI/CD, security, resilience) * Experience designing Android applications and building UI with Jetpack Compose * Experience with REST/JSON, RxJava, LiveData, and API integration * Knowledge of architectural patterns (MVI, MVVM) and Gang of Four patterns Key requirements * comprehensive health care * on-site health and wellness centers * retirement savings plan * backup childcare * tuition reimbursement * mental health support
