Job description

Akkodis is seeking a Developer-Full Stack Senior for a Contract with a client in Mclean, VA. The ideal candidate with experience developing and enhancing enterprise financial applications, supporting forecasting platforms, and driving improvements in performance, scalability, and reliability., * Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise financial forecasting applications to improve model accuracy, performance, and scalability.

  • Refactor and modernize existing application components to improve maintainability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Support critical financial reporting production runs by troubleshooting issues and ensuring accurate and timely outputs.
  • Write high-quality, well-tested code using best practices, including automated unit and integration testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, data, infrastructure, and application teams, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce technical debt and enhance system performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience using Python, Java, or C#.
  • Strong experience with Git version control, SQL/relational databases, and unit testing frameworks in a team-based development environment.

Benefits & conditions

Rate Range: $85/Hour to $90/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors., Pay Details: $85.00 to $90.00 per hour
