Experteer Overview In this Lead Business Architect role, you define the target state for finance domain architectures as part of Citi’s Finance Technology Transformation, migrating core platforms to Oracle SaaS. You shape the future finance operating model by outlining business capabilities, end-to-end processes, data flows and controls. You translate strategy into a practical blueprint, guiding cross-functional stakeholders to align technology with business needs. You’ll drive architecture across accounting engines, G/L, close, data substantiation and reconciliation, enabling compliant and efficient financial reporting. Compensation / Benefits * Define target state architecture for key finance domains (Accounting Engines, General Ledger, Financial Close, Data Substantiation, Reconciliation) * Map and analyze current state processes to identify gaps and opportunities for simplification, standardization, and automation * Develop detailed business process models, functional designs, and data flow diagrams aligned with objectives and regulatory requirements * Champion data integrity through robust reconciliation and substantiation frameworks from a business and data perspective * Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Finance, Front Office, and Operations to gather requirements and build consensus * Translate business architecture into functional requirements and ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose Tasks * Experience as a Business Architect or Process Architect in financial services * Deep functional knowledge of core finance processes (GL, sub-ledger, close and consolidation, data substantiation, multi-system reconciliation) * Ability to model end-to-end business processes at scale in a global organization * Strong understanding of financial data flows, data governance, and regulatory reporting needs * Experience in large-scale transformation programs, preferably SaaS ERP migrations (Oracle or SAP) * Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to influence senior leaders * Strategic thinker who links detailed processes to broader business outcomes Key requirements * medical, dental & vision coverage * 401(k) plan * life, accident and disability insurance * wellness programs * paid time off including vacation and holidays
