Full Stack Developer

Experteer Overview In this hands-on role you will design, build, and enhance highly available, real-time systems for a mission-critical CBP program. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to translate customer objectives into scalable cloud-ready solutions while following Agile principles. The position supports development and operations and maintenance in a SecDevOps environment, contributing across the software lifecycle from architecture to testing. You will be embedded in a security-conscious setting, delivering resilient software for border security operations. Compensation / Benefits * Architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance scalable, real-time systems * Participate in major project deliverables across the SDLC (scope, design, coding, testing) * Work in an Agile, SecDevOps environment to support development and O&M for mission-critical systems * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with customer objectives and timelines * Travel/onsite presence in Ashburn, VA as required (twice weekly) Tasks * BS/BA with 10+ years of related experience or MS with 8+ years, or 4 years in lieu of degree * U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain CBP background investigation * CBP background eligibility and ability to work in a government security environment * Experience with Agile Scrum and SecDevOps * Experience with containerized applications, preferably Konvoy * 3+ years’ experience developing cloud-ready apps and/or migrating apps to the cloud * 2+ years in JAVA, JSF, JavaScript, Spring, or Selenium * Minimum 2 years in at least 2 of React, Angular, Redux, HTML, CSS, JSX, Bootstrap, ES6, JWT, JSON, Babel, Webpack, Axios, NPM, Node * Proficiency in Java and JavaScript, including DOM and modern frameworks * 2+ years’ experience with Microservices/RESTful APIs and Axios for REST interactions * HTML/CSS/Bootstrap experience * Experience with JWT-based authorization * Preferred: Redux for session management, ES6 features, modern front-end tooling * AWS Developer or Solutions Architect certs and/or Google Cloud experience * Active CBP BI clearance Key requirements *
