Full Stack Developer, Team Lead

Experteer Overview In this hands-on team lead role, you architect, build, and deliver scalable real-time systems for CBP Passenger Systems. You guide an Agile development team and coordinate program-wide releases. You collaborate with government customers on requirements and ensure high-quality, tested software. You contribute as a senior developer when needed, shaping technical direction and code quality while driving delivery. Compensation / Benefits * Guide team development efforts toward successful project delivery * Mentor and coach a team of three senior developers * Monitor performance, resolve impediments, and drive improvements * Coordinate schedule execution and program-wide software/architecture releases * Lead Program Increment (PI) Planning and provide technical details for architecture * Foster cross-team collaboration for development, testing, and deployment * Brief customers on PI progress, testing, deployment, and release readiness * Maintain code quality, coverage, and CM process * Build front-end with appealing visuals and define API needs * Ensure automated testing and software quality best practices * Identify growth areas within the team * Collaborate with government customers on requirements * Hands-on contribution as a senior developer when needed * Lead developers in hands-on execution * Analyze and resolve technical and application problems Tasks * BA/BS and 12+ years of relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years or 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree * US citizenship * Ability to obtain CBP Background Investigation prior to start * Experience with AI/ML as part of software lifecycle or AI/ML solutions * 8 years of hands-on experience with a tech stack including Angular, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Spring Boot, Material UI, Java, AWS Cloud, EKS, Ansible, Git, Rafay, RESTful services, Hibernate, Oracle/MySQL/Postgres, microservices, CI/CD, Agile, UX/UI * Experience with wireframe/mockups tools * Self-starter, strong leader, independent work * Knowledge of software design patterns * MS Office proficiency * Experience with DevOps frameworks, Jira, Confluence * Preferred: Active DoD TS or DHS CBP BI, Gemini Enterprise AI Platform experience * Solid experience as a full stack Java developer * AWS, microservices, containerization, CI/CD * AWS App Development Key requirements *
