Sr. Test Development Engineer

Experteer Overview In this position you own the electrical test solution lifecycle for new defense/aerospace products, guiding design, development, and validation. You collaborate across design, lab work, and production to deliver automated test solutions. The role blends software (LabVIEW/TestStand) and hardware execution, with hands-on debugging and vendor/customer interaction. You will drive test strategy, verification, and production transitions, enabling scalable, reliable testing that supports mission-critical hardware. Compensation / Benefits * Design test plans, matrices, fixtures, and procedures for new products * Develop automated test software using NI LabVIEW and TestStand * Assemble and validate test hardware and equipment * Perform verification and validation activities including Gage R&R and document procedures * Transition automated tests from development to production environments * Prepare technical concepts, proposals, and cost/design strategies for automated tests * Provide clear project status updates and interface with internal teams, customers, and vendors Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology * 5-10 years of functional test hardware and software development experience * Proficiency with NI LabVIEW and TestStand (or equivalent) * Hands-on experience with standard electronic test and measurement equipment * U.S. Citizenship Key requirements *
