Experteer Overview As Staff Security Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and scale of Snowflake’s endpoint security at enterprise scale. You’ll own the security tooling roadmap, deploy AI-enabled security platforms, and drive secure engineering practices across cross-functional teams. You’ll monitor and respond to threats, build real-time detection, and reduce risk with zero-trust concepts. This role offers a rare chance to shape security at global scale and partner closely with Engineering, IT, and Product. Compensation / Benefits * Develop, maintain, and scale endpoint security solutions (EDR, DLP, secure browser, MDM, AI security) across a multi-cloud, multi-SaaS environment * Own the technical roadmap for endpoint security tooling * Build intelligent security platforms and automate security operations with AI and software engineering * Monitor security events, investigate incidents, and implement real-time detection and prevention * Develop threat intelligence pipelines to stay ahead of adversaries * Perform risk and threat analyses to proactively remediate vulnerabilities and apply zero-trust principles * Define and implement unified security policies, procedures, and standards for endpoint protection * Partner with Security, Engineering, IT, and Product to drive secure engineering practices and provide guidance * Mentor engineers, introduce new techniques, and advance the team’s craft * Champion security culture through enablement and education Tasks * 5+ years in information security with a strong focus on endpoint security * Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, C, C++, or JavaScript; experience with AI-assisted development * Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and maintaining endpoint security tools across Windows, macOS, Linux * Strong understanding of operating systems, networks, and endpoint security concepts * Experience leading technical projects and driving data-informed decisions * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field or equivalent practical experience Key requirements *
