Job description

Experteer Overview As a Systems Engineer for Strategic Weapons Control, you contribute to modernization efforts for the nation’s strategic submarine fleet within a cross-functional team. You will drive design, integration and verification activities, balancing requirements and performance. The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and collaboration to deliver reliable weapon control and guidance solutions. You will have opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and support a mission-critical program. Join a high-performance team focused on national security and technological advancement. Compensation / Benefits * Design and deployment of modernization initiatives for the strategic submarine fleet * Requirements management and system modeling throughout the development lifecycle * Hardware and software integration, testing, troubleshooting, and reporting * Lead technical efforts and develop customer-facing documentation and design reviews * Collaborate across disciplines and communicate effectively with stakeholders * Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related field plus 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree plus 3+ years * Active Department of Defense Secret clearance and eligibility for access to classified information * U.S. citizenship Key requirements * flexible schedules (9/80, every other Friday off) * 401k matching * flex time off * paid parental leave * healthcare benefits * wellness programs
